Sibur says to save 59 bln rbl in 3 years thanks to digitalization

MOSCOW, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- Russian petrochemical holding Sibur plans to save 59 billion rubles in the next three years through digitalization and optimization of business processes, a representative of Sibur told PRIME on Friday.

“Russian petrochemical group Sibur has achieved an 8 billion ruble effect from optimization of business processes and their digitalization as of the end of 2020. Implementation of the whole portfolio of digital and organizational projects would allow us to attain about 59 billion rubles in the scope of three years,” the representative said.

Prioritization of initiatives of economic effects and knowledgeable introduction of technologies became the key principles of digital transformation. The largest impact comes from advance analysis and machine learning instruments. The company is developing a platform for data collection and analysis like mobile apps, computer vision, and an industrial internet of things.
